It begins with the reception at the Iquitos airport or Hotel.
Transfer to the Bellavista Nanay Tourist Pier, during the tour it will provide a brief orientation on the city of Iquitos, observing the main tourist places of this thriving and historic city in eastern Peru that, in the 19th century, went from being a small town to Amazonas most important river port, acquiring a surprising cosmopolitan condition during the so-called “Rubber Rush”.
Arrival at the Bellavista Nanay Tourist Pier, where we will take a tour of approximately 15 to 20 minutes, before boarding the boat to learn a little about the gastronomy of the jungle.
Then we begin the navigation through the largest river in the world and one of the Natural Wonders of the World “EL AMAZONAS”, aboard comfortable and safe typical boats. The trip through the Amazon River will allow you to appreciate a panorama in which the magnificence of the river makes its way through the exuberance of the jungle where the picturesque riverside towns also appear with their characteristic color and joy.
Arrival at the Yanayacu River Lodge. Our staff will receive you with a nice refreshing welcome drink, made with fresh fruit from the region. A short explanation about the rules that govern the sustainability of the Lodge and its surroundings will allow you to better understand the ways to make your stay and participation in eco-tourism activities more rewarding.

In the afternoon we go to the Wildlife Rescue Center, “Fundo Rony” to observe and interact with some of the varieties of wild animals such as sloths, monkeys, macaws, toucans, boas and others. It will be an interesting way to learn to value and respect the wildlife of our Peruvian Amazon.
Then we go to the “Artisanal Trapiche” where we can also learn about some of the tools used by the man of the jungle in the past and where we can participate in the extraction of sugar cane juice and enjoy this typical drink called “leva” in addition to tasting some aphrodisiac and medicinal drinks like: RC, 21 roots, SVSS and Flamingo.

Followed, night excursion, your guide will indicate the moment in which the excursion in canoe or on foot will begin that will take you to discover the mysterious world of nocturnal insects, cicadas, spiders, tarantulas, praying mantises, snakes, etc.
