Welcome to the city of Lima!, ¡also known as the cultural capital of Peru! After breakfast, we pick you up to start the City tour which will last approximately 2 and a half hours. We begin our tour with a panoramic view of the “Huaca Pucllana”, a magnificent ceremonial and archaeological center built in the 4th century AD. and considered a “Sacred Town” by the Incas. We visit the Historic Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Municipal Palace among others. The viceroyalty of Peru was the most important of the Spanish Empire and Lima was its capital.

Then we visit the monumental complex of San Francisco, which is the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. A visit to its underground crypts known as “Catacombs” stands out. Finally, we will visit contemporary Lima, we will take a walk through the most traditional residential areas of Lima, El Olivar in San Isidro, Miraflores and Larcomar, after having had a wonderful day you choose to finish the tour at your hotel, or simply continue enjoying Lima on your own.

Flight Lima – Cusco | Free afternoon in Cusco

After breakfast at your hotel in Lima our private transport will take you to the Lima airport to take your flight to Cusco. Take the flight from – Lima – Cusco.

Upon arrival at the Cusco airport, our guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in our private transportation. After check-in, our guide will brief you and provide general information about the city. After check-in at the hotel, you have the afternoon free to walk around the city on your own.

Day 04
Cusco | Chinchero | Moray | Salt flats| Trip on train to Aguas Calientes

After breakfast at your hotel in Cusco. We pick you up at 7:45 am then we will go out to visit part of the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas, its beautiful views, its people, the craft markets and the incredible archaeological centers make this tour an unforgettable experience.

First, we will go to Moray without first making an optional stop in the town of Chinchero, here you will have the opportunity to have contact with the local people, and you will see how they live, and how they work in textiles. Here they still preserve the Inca culture, they dye their clothes with natural colors using plants, insects, etc. You can also buy a gift if you wish.

Soon we will be on the road again and we will take our transport to Moray. You will surely be amazed by the unique formation of the place that many compare to an amphitheater or even something alien. However, it was actually a gigantic Inca agricultural laboratory. Your guide will fill you in on the history of the site, and you’ll have plenty of time to explore and take some photos.

The Maras salt flats are located very close and often they’re combined with a trip to Moray. After our lunch in Urubamba, we will take you to the train station located in Ollantaytambo 20 minutes away, we will board the 360° vistadome class train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (town of Machupicchu). This trip will allow you to see beautiful glaciers and snow-capped peaks, as well as fertile green valleys and Inca agricultural terraces on both sides of the valley. At the end of the train journey in Aguas Calientes at the exit door of the train station, we will be waiting to take you to your hotel where you will spend the night. Get settled in your hotel, After check-in, you will have free time to relax this afternoon. You can relax in the hot springs of Aguas Calientes or walk through the small streets of this town.

Day 05
Aguas Calientes | Machu Picchu | Cusco

We will wake you up very early so that you can enjoy your breakfast without rushing at 6:00 am. In this way, we can board one of the first buses that leave for Machu Picchu. This means that you will beat the big crowds and be able to enjoy the complex in peace as the sun rises and casts a stunning orange glow on the massive stones. (Optional, you will have to get up early to see the sunrise in Machu Picchu or continue resting a little more).

Along with your guide, board the bus for a 30-minute tour before arriving at the entrance gate of Machu Picchu. Feel the powerful energy of this fantastic archaeological site as soon as you enter. You will feel the happiness of observing how the golden light of the sun gradually covers all the corners of Machu Picchu. Discover all its secrets and mysteries during a guided tour where you will also learn a lot about its history and the local flora and fauna. Day 06
Cusco | The route of the sun | Andahuaylillas | Raqchi | Puca Pucará | Puno

In the morning after breakfast at your hotel, we will take you to the private bus station that will take you along the famous route of the sun to Puno. This is a special bus trip that will allow us to visit many different places along the way on the route of the sun. Several stops will be scheduled for us to visit the following places: Andahuaylillas; (The Sistine Chapel of America, this temple is one of the best examples of the fusion between the Catholic and Andean religions), Raqchi; An Inca temple dedicated to the god Wiracocha, construction of monumental dimensions, about 100 meters long, 26 wide, 14m high, This is the only known temple dedicated to the god Wiracocha, creator of the universe.

La Raya will mark the middle of our trip as well as being the highest point of the journey -4335msnm. The impressive views here will allow us to admire the rugged landscape at this altitude; full of high peaks, many of which are snow-capped, herds of llamas, alpacas and vicuñas. Puno | Lake Titicaca | Uros and Taquile floating islands

Climb aboard a motor boat and set sail for the Uros Islands, man-made floating islands made entirely of reeds. How long in advance should I make my reservation?

We recommend that you do this many months in advance. You must make the reservation at least 30 days in advance. Since the spaces in Machu Picchu are quickly exhausted. This will depend on booking the best hotels on this tour, hotels are always guaranteed when they are available. With much time in advance we guarantee the hotels that we know are better in terms of quality of service, style, infrastructure and details in the interiors of each room.

Do I have to make a deposit to guarantee my reservation?

Peru is a very large country with many different climates, for that reason it would be very difficult to define a good time to visit different places. However, we consider that the best season is from April to December. From January to May is the rainy season in Cusco in the rest of the country it is sunny – summer.

Puno | Lake Titicaca | Uros and Taquile floating islands

After breakfast at your hotel, have a comfortable pick-up for transfer to the main port in Puno, relax during a panoramic drive alongside to the resplendent Lake Titicaca. Climb aboard a motor boat and set sail for the Uros Islands, man-made floating islands made entirely of reeds. Enjoy a warm welcome from the friendly locals, who will show you around their rustic homes while your knowledgeable guide explains the fascinating history of the islands; Originally built as a defense mechanism, the islands were designed with flexible reeds to move easily during the attack. Learn about the logistical issues of rotten reed foundations, then return to the ship for the next leg of your journey.

Travel for around 30 minutes inside the lake.

Disembark on the island of Taquile, a place that has avoided the metropolitan development of the modern world; women still wear traditionally woven clothing and artisan treasures are created using ancient methods. Learn about gender role reversals and enjoy a light traditional lunch inspired by regional recipes. After your culturally enriching exploration, return to the ship and venture back to your hotel in Puno.

Puno | Departure from Puno

Option 1: After breakfast, at the indicated time of your flight, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Juliaca airport (JUL) (located just an hour’s drive from the city of Puno) for your flight back to Lima. or other destinations.

Option 2: We will take you to the bus station to take a bus that will take you back to Cusco.

In order to book the 8 day tour with us, we will need a deposit of $600 per person. Once we receive your deposit, we will send you a confirmation of your trip and the reservation form to complete. Here you have all the information that has to be filled in the form.

How long in advance should I make my reservation?

We recommend that you do this many months in advance. You must make the reservation at least 30 days in advance. Since the spaces in Machu Picchu are quickly exhausted. This will depend on booking the best hotels on this tour, hotels are always guaranteed when they are available. With much time in advance we guarantee the hotels that we know are better in terms of quality of service, style, infrastructure and details in the interiors of each room.

Do I have to make a deposit to guarantee my reservation?

Yes, no reservation will be guaranteed unless you have made a payment of a deposit of 600 per person through our 2 payment methods mentioned in our Book Now form. Important: None of the requested deposits include transaction fees.

What about the outstanding balance?

The outstanding balance can be given in cash after settling in your hotel in Lima, it can be in dollars or soles, and if you prefer to use PayPal or payment link (a service fee of 6% applies). What is the best time to do the excursion?

Peru is a very large country with many different climates, for that reason it would be very difficult to define a good time to visit different places. This day take a small backpack or suitcase with enough clothes to spend the night in Aguas Calientes.
