FAST ITINERARY

• DAY 01: PRIVATE EXCURSION TO THE MEDICINAL WATERS OF LARES
  Visit the hot springs of Lares.

Our medicinal excursion begins with the pick up at your hotel in Cusco at 06:00 am We will take you through the sacred valley to the town of Lares de Lares to marvel at the spectacular glaciers on the route.

In Lares we will have some time to visit the main square, and we will have the opportunity to interact with local people, 15 minutes from the Plaza de Lares the medicinal springs are located. Along with your guide and with his instructions, explore the place and get soaked and let the medicinal yellow water relax your body.

After having enjoyed the thermal medicinal bath we will return to the town of Lares, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch and finally we will return to the city of Cusco arriving at 18:00 PM.

How to book the excursion to Lares Trek with FLY CUSCO PERU?

To book the Lares Trek with us, we will need a deposit of $000 per person. Once we receive your deposit, we will send you a confirmation of your trip and the reservation form to complete. Here you have all the information that has to be filled in the form.

What do I need to bring to the Lares Trek?

• We recommend that you take only what is necessary to enjoy your tour and leave the rest of your things at the hotel in Cusco.
• The original passport.
• A small 50 liter backpack that allows you to introduce all the things you will take with you
• A sleeping bag preferably at least 5 to 10 degrees below zero, this can be synthetic or feather, if you do not have one you can rent it from our office.
• Appropriate clothing for walking, waterproof and comfortable shoes for long walks, shorts and long pants, sports shirts.
• Warm clothes to be used in the camp (We recommend cotton clothes that are very comfortable to sleep in, a hat and gloves for the cold. Walking socks, sandals to be used when you arrive at the camp, you should also carry bags plastic so you can separate things in the backpack (clean, wet, dirty clothes and others).
• A canteen with water for the first day of the walk. From the first lunch on day 01 you will be provided with cold filtered boiled water for your canteens.
• The use of a canteen is mandatory along the Inca Trail, the authorities will not allow the use or entry of plastic bottles
• Personal hygiene items: a small towel, soap, toothpaste and toothbrush, toilet paper, hand sanitizer gel. These last two items are very important.
• Personal medications, within this list also includes muscle relaxants, tablets for pain and blessed for scratches, blisters on the feet that can be generated after several hours of walking.
• Sun and mosquito protection items, sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat or caps, and mosquito repellent.
• Battery operated headlamps, extra battery for camera (to be used every night in the camps, especially the last day, because we will wake up around 3:30am.

Equipment Rental for Lares Trek

All our travelers need a sleeping bag for camping. Our sleeping bags are effective and durable in protecting from temperatures as low as -18ºC (0ºF). Also, walking sticks (with rubber tips) are optional but highly recommended. If you don’t have them, don’t worry, you can rent them with us in Cusco.
