8:30 AM: After driving 1 hour from Cusco we meet the traditional town of chinchero, we will visit a local family, here they keep the weaving traditions alive. Their alpacas and llamas will welcome you and you can take a picture with them, you can even give them breakfast. 5. Urubamba – Tunupa Restaurant

6. Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park
2:40 PM: Our last discovery of that day: The terraces and ruins of Ollantaytambo. This place was highly protected as it was the entrance to the road to Machu Picchu. Therefore, many things happened here during the Spanish invasion.
15:30 PM: Then we will take you to the station to board the selected train. This 1:45 minute train ride will allow you to see incredible views of mountainous terrain before seeing Machu Picchu.
7. Aguas Calientes
18:10 PM: You will arrive in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) at the exit door of the train station we will be waiting to take you to your hotel where you will spend the night. Settle into your hotel. After check-in, you have the afternoon free on your own.

07:00 After having our breakfast at the hotel we will transfer with our guide to the bus station. This bus will take us to the main gate of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu where we will begin our unforgettable experience. Your expert guide will walk you through the main streets of these incredible ruins. Take the classic photo from the highest point, stroll through the city squares and climb the delicately carved stone stairs. Upon arrival at the train station in Ollantaytambo, our transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cuzco. Estimated arrival time 6.30pm.

This is a special bus trip that will allow us to visit many different places along the way on the route of the sun. In order to book the 6 day tour with us, we will need a deposit of 50% per person. Once we receive your deposit, we will send you a confirmation of your trip and the reservation form to complete. Here you have all the information that has to be filled in the form.
How long in advance should I make my reservation?
We recommend that you do this many months in advance. You must make the reservation at least 30 days in advance. Since the spaces in Machu Picchu are quickly exhausted.
Do I need to make a deposit to guarantee my reservation?
Yes, no reservation will be guaranteed unless you have made a payment of a deposit of 50% per person through our 2 payment methods mentioned in our Book Now form. Important: None of the requested deposits include transaction fees.
What about the outstanding balance?
The outstanding balance can be given in cash after settling in your hotel in Cusco, it can be in dollars or soles, and if you prefer to use PayPal or payment link (a service fee of 6% applies). Also, you can pay us only by Visa credit card at our payment machine (POS) (5% service fee applies). Let us know which of the payment methods is your preference.

Can I store my luggage when I travel to Machu Picchu on day 2?
Of course! During the trip to Machu Picchu, you can leave or store the things that you will not take to Machu Picchu in the hotel where you are staying. Most of these establishments have warehouses where they will store your things (at no extra cost). This day take a small backpack or suitcase with enough clothes to spend the night in Aguas Calientes.
What is the best time to do the excursion?
Peru is a very large country with many different climates, for that reason it would be very difficult to define a good time to visit different places. However, we consider that the best season is from April to December. From January to May is the rainy season, this does not mean that it is a bad time to travel. Huayna Picchu is the mountain that is next to Machu Picchu. It’s a 45 minute hike to the top. Note that going back down is quite steep. So if you have a fear of heights, this may not be a hike you enjoy. You would do this after your Machu Picchu tour and there is an additional fee. Arrangements must be made at least a month or two in advance due to popularity.
