Welcome to the city of Lima!, also known as the cultural capital of Peru! Upon arrival at the Lima airport we will wait for you with a sign with the name of the main traveler, we will take you to your hotel to register, leave your luggage and freshen up. You will have some time to rest before finding a place for lunch or dinner.
After lunch, and once you are ready, you will be able to choose whether to rest or take a tour of the city.
After breakfast we will pick you up to start the City tour that will last approximately 2 and a half hours. We begin our tour with a panoramic view of the “Huaca Pucllana”, a magnificent ceremonial and archaeological center built in the IV century AD and considered a “Sacred Town” by the Incas. We visit the Historic Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la República, the Plaza San Martín, the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Municipal Palace among others. The viceroyalty of Peru was the most important in the Spanish Empire and Lima was its capital.
Next we visit the monumental complex of San Francisco, which constitutes the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. The visit to its underground crypts known as “Catacombs” stands out. Finally we will visit contemporary Lima, we will take a walk through the most traditional residential areas of Lima, El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores and Larcomar. After having had a wonderful day, you choose to end the tour at your hotel or simply continue enjoying Lima on your own.

We will visit a traditional market in the Town of Pisac and interact with the local people and buy some local souvenirs. the Pisac Market is very famous and very visited since we can learn about ceramics, jewelry and textiles.

Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park
After lunch, we will continue our trip to Ollantaytambo where we will visit this amazing Inca site, which is an area of important Inca constructions, built during the Inca times. It is an extraordinary Inca citadel where we will find an amazing rock formation that represents the Inca god Wiracocha.

Finally, at 4:00 p.m. we will take you to the train station located in the same town of Ollantaytambo and you will board the train that will take you to Aguas Calientes (town of Machupicchu). This train trip will allow you to appreciate the fascinating landscape along the sacred Vilcanota River

We will arrive in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) at 5:50 p.m. and we will leave you at the hotel to spend the night.
Enjoy your breakfast without rushing, your guide will pick you up at 9:00 am. Together with your guide board the buses that leave for Machu Picchu. This means you’ll beat the huge crowds and be able to enjoy the complex in peace as the sun rises and casts a stunning orange glow on the massive stones. (Optional, you will have to get up early to see the sunrise in Machu Picchu or continue resting a little more).
Together with your guide, board the bus for a 30-minute tour before arriving at the entrance gate of Machu Picchu. Feel the powerful energy of this fantastic archaeological site as soon as you enter. You will feel the happiness of observing how the golden light of the sun gradually covers all the corners of Machu Picchu. Discover all its secrets and mysteries during a guided tour where you will also learn a lot about its history and the local flora and fauna. After having finished visiting Machu Picchu we will descend to Aguas Calientes.
In Aguas Calientes you will find a place to have lunch and then you will have free time to enjoy this charming town. We recommend that you take a dip in the medicinal waters of Aguas Calientes.
Aguas Calientes
A delicious breakfast at the hotel is followed by a relaxing morning at leisure. Make your last visit to the small town of Aguas Calientes before taking the train back to Cusco. You can visit Machu Picchu for the second time (optional extra payment) At the indicated time take the return train to the Ollantaytambo station. From here you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.
Cusco
Around 7:20 p.m., have dinner at the best restaurant, off the beaten path in the heart of the city. With typical dances and live music from the area.
After breakfast, you will be taken to the bus station for a guided bus tour en route to Puno from Cusco, including drinks and lunch plus an English-speaking guide. Stop along the way at Andahuaylillas “The Sistine Chapel”, Raqchi, Sicuani (lunch), La Raya (the border between Cusco and Puno) and Pucara. Upon arrival in Puno our staff will take you in a private transport to your hotel in Puno.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the port of Puno, where a boat takes you to the floating islands of the Uros. The Uros are an ancient society that inhabits a series of artificial islands built with totora reeds, which grow in the lake. The islands are built by weaving thick reeds, forming a natural layer. The locals build their houses, also made of cane, and cook outdoors to avoid possible fires. After an hour and a half of travel, continue your trip to Taquile. This island is Quechua-speaking, unlike the other islands in the lake where Aymara is spoken. The island was once part of the Inca Empire, and vestiges of that culture can still be seen in its structures. Once there, receive a brief explanation and witness a cultural demonstration. After lunch, start the return to Puno.
