Transfer to the Bellavista Nanay Tourist Pier, during the tour you will be given a brief orientation on the city of Iquitos, observing the main tourist places of this thriving and historic city in eastern Peru that, in the 19th century, became a small populated to the most important river port in the Amazon, acquiring a surprising cosmopolitan condition during the so-called “Rubber Rush”.
Arrival at the Bellavista Nanay Tourist Pier, where we will take a tour of approximately 15 to 20 minutes, before boarding the boat to learn a little about the gastronomy of the jungle.
Then we begin the navigation through the largest river in the world and one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World “EL AMAZONAS”, aboard comfortable and safe typical boats. The trip through the Amazon River will allow you to appreciate a wonderful panorama in which the magnificence of the river makes its way through the exuberance of the jungle where the picturesque riverside towns also appear with their characteristic color and joy.
Arrival at the Yanayacu River Lodge. Our staff will receive you with a nice refreshing welcome drink, made with fresh fruit from the region. In the afternoon we go to the Wildlife Rescue Center, “Fundo Rony” to observe and interact with some of the varieties of wild animals, such as the sloth bear, monkeys, macaws, toucans, boas and others. It will be an interesting way to learn to value and respect the wildlife of our Peruvian Amazon.
