Take this 2-hour workshop and learn how to make your own chocolate from start to finish. Learn about the chocolate-making process with this hands-on experience that begins with the cacao tree and ends with your own chocolate creations. Discover the history of cocoa in Peru and learn why it is one of the main producers of chocolate in the world.
The excursion begins with the transfer from the hotel to the workshop where expert Peruvian chocolatiers await us for the most delicious class of our lives. We will learn all the steps of the process of making chocolate from the cacao tree in the Peruvian jungle. Did you know that Peru has one of the tastiest chocolates in the world? We will also learn the history of chocolate and how the ancient Peruvians used this delicious delicacy. The time has come! It’s time to get to work and make our own chocolates (120 g) with dark or milk chocolate. We will mold them to our liking and we can take them home to share with family and friends. We will also learn to prepare three drinks during the workshop: cocoa tea, the sacred drink of the Mayans and a hot chocolate.
